C., New York, and other points East leaves next Saturday from Carthage.This trip will be second only to * land in the finals. This moved Carthage to the semi-finals where they were eliminated by Union City, 15-7 and 11-8. The latter game was stopped because of the time limit. Union City in turn lost to Spice-indebtedness to the people of this community; for had it not been for them, our trip would have been a dream, not a reality. We are obligated to make of our trip as much as possible.In this editor’s way of thinking no class in recent years has been so fortunate as ours. Facing the necessity of earning over $1,900 for this trip, the class undertook many projects which were successful. The success of our many projects to some extent can be attributed to hard-work, but to an even greater extent to the generous people of this community.
