Behrens, the local agent for Whippet and Willys-Knight automobiles, contracted this week for the purchase of a lot with a 100 foot frontage and 350 feet in depth, located just north of the Proctor general store. Mr. Behrens intends to start building operations on this lot within two weeks. He will put up a building 75 by 100 feet in size which will house a garage, blacksmith shop and filling station. He has not definitely decided what brand of oil he will carry. In the rear of the building, Mr. Behrens intends to install a tourist camp with accommodations for automobil-ists desiring to spend the night in Monticcllo. This fiew garage will be located on Prtmary No. 161, and should be in line for some good business. Mr. Behrens has been conducting a blacksmith shop in the Joe Meyer building for several years.
