mmIK OEMSkeleton In Collier Closet Will Be Exposed NowGeorge Collier, a saloon roustabout in Michigan City, who for a time wasemployed as flagman for the Monon road at the Franklin street crossings languishes in the body of the city bastile charged with wife desertion. It seems that he was discharged by the railroad company recently and Thursday drew the balance of his pay, |23, with which he “sklddooed” for the nearest saloon instead of taking it to his family, says The Dispatch. This was more than Mrs. Collier could stand and she went to the police with her trouble. After pouring a tale of woe longer than a turnpike into the ample ear of Supt. Weller she was advised to have her husband arrested, which she did. George w-as located at once and introduced to the inside of a cell, where he remained until morning. When arraigned in city court he pleaded not guilty and the case was continued. Being unable to furnish a bond of $25 he will continue to occupy a cell until his case comes up.It is expected that all the hideous skeletons contained in the Collier closet will be exposed to public gaze
