Valentine Decker, and old German resident of this city died at hie home on Sontk l'\ street at 1:30 yesterday mornim* of asthmatic and dropsical complications and in the CTth year of bia ago. He had lived in this city for the paEt -10 or 00 yeare. He was a member of the Kaigiits of Honor, was a, skilled wood maker and wa3 for many years foreman »h Bentel Margodant'a. lie was an upright, honorable citizen, a kind lather and an affectionate husband. Besides bis now bereaved widow. four children survive to mourn his death, Mrs. Frank Kiuch and Mrs. Chris Fink, of the First ward, .TobD Becker, of Dayton, and Paul Becker, ul Ibis city. Tfco funeral will take place | from thelHte residence at 2 o'clock | and from the German H. E. church on I Xortli C. stroet at 2.JO Tuesday afternoon. Place of interment, Grconwood J cemetery.
