Organ masterBrother Jack McDuff, who along with Jimmy Smith pioneered bluesy jazz organ in the 50s and '60s. will play a concert at 9 p.m. Sunday at The Joynt. 322 Water St. The key to McDuff is intensity — he likes to find the groove, and his band tends to swing ferociously. The largeness of his sound also makes his band seem bigger. McDuff, who recorded for Prestige and Atlantic in jazz organ s heydey. has seen many players go through his bands to bigger things, among them guitarist George Benson. Tickets for the concert are $8.50. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
