mulitBarnhardt Is Gi ven DinnerRoy B. Barnhardt Sr. was honored last Sunday with a surprise dinner in observance of his 62nd birthday. The courtesy was given by his wife and son and three daughters and their families as follows:Roy B. Barnhardt Jr. and wife and children, Jason and Lynn, and Mrs. Jim Moser and Mr. Moser and David and Jamie, all of Charlotte; Mrs. Bill Sloop and Mr. Sloop and Kim and Steven and Mrs. Jerry Gul-ledge and Mr. Gulledge and Bryan, all of Kannapolis.The Barnhardt home, 108 Cedar Ave., was decorated for the event with Easter lilies and colorful eggs. Attending the dinner and calling during the afternoon were around 50 relatives and friends of the family from here and from Charlotte, Mooresville, China Grove and Concord.Sunday morning, Mr. Barn* hardt’s family placed flowers in his honor on the altar at Kimball Memorial Luthe ran church.
