Auditions ScheduledAFor ''Guys And Dolls''The Allamakee Community Players, Inc., will be holding tryouts for Frank Loesser’s musical “Guys And Dolls” on Monday and Tuesday, April 6 and 7.. Auditions will be at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 27 2 Avenue NW, Waukon, 7 to 9 p.m. each day.During auditions, those persons interested in receiving a part will be asked to read aloud from the script and to demonstrate singing ability, although past musical experience is not a requirement. If persons trying out would like to bring a musical selection of their own to present, they are welcome to do so.In addition to the cast, persons are needed for the various crews necessary to produce a musical of this size. Persons will be needed to help with set construction, prop management, sound, lights, advertising and costumes. Anyone interested in helping in any of these areas is also encouraged to attend auditions.Directing “Guys And Dolls” on June 12-14 will be the Waukon High School drama director Jack Darland.
