Ind., April L*—A meet-Ing, as unique In purpose as It was interesting In character, was held in the committee rooms of the Quaker church here to-day Schoolmates, who had not gathered tinder the same roof for fifty years, met to organise a reunion association,and to make arrangements for a reunion of the students of the old Quaker schoolat Sugar Grove, which existed a half century ago.The Sugar Grove school is no more, but it* memory lives. The school was situated two miles south of Plainfield. Men who have won honor in peace and war were educated here.The Idea of the reunion was that ofJohn Morgan, of this place, who Is one ofthe old “boys” of Suggr Grove. Hementioned It to old schoolmates in Plainfield, and they caught the spirit of the idea Instantly.Attaining the Quaker church here Is the home of Riley Atkinson, another of the “boys.” Atklngon maintains In hfs home a room that _ Is called “the committee-room” of the church.
