WOMAN GETS DIVORCE OH CRUELTY CHARGEMrs. Anna Doeing Awarded $20 Alimony from Her Husband, Bradford Doeing ,Anna Doeing was granted a absolute divorce front her husband Brad* ford Doeing by Judge Theodore l^rs itt municipal court Friday morning. She was also given possession of an automobile. $20 per month alimony and the defendant was ordered to pay all costs of the action. Mrs. Doeing in her complaint alleged cruel and inhuman treatment. She told of several beatings administered by her husband. Mrs. John Evers, mother of Mrs. Doeing. told how Mrs. Doeing came homo 0:1 the night of Aug. 21. with a black eye and bruises about her face where it was alleged Iter husband had struck her.Mr. Doeing claimed that his wife had started to scream and when ho placed his hand over her mouth to silence her she bit hint tit id it was necessary for him to strike her to make her let go. Mrs. Doeing alleged that since their marriage they had lived at the home of her husband’s parentson the School Scction-rd and that she had been forced to seek employment so that she could buy clothes.The Docinsrs were married at Menominee.
