- Christiana V. Sampson complains, of her husband, John Sampson, stating that he was guilty of inhuman treatment in every conceivable form. Beating and cursing her while she was ill, forcing her and1 her 'children by a former marriage to secure a livelihood for themselves and him. She also avers that he misrepresented his financial condition before their marriage.' The plaintiff demands the an-nullment of the marriage vows and the restoration of her former name, Mrs. Christina V. McNew.
