The plaintiff asked a divorce from the defendant upon the ground of willful nbaense, gross neglect of duty, and extreme cruelty.Dr. Adolph Zipperlenn, sworn—I was present at the marriage of the jmrties in the house of the plaintiff's father, August Renz. After the marriage they went to live at Akron, Ohio. The defendant brought the plaintiff home over three years ago, and she ha* been living with her mother since that time. lie returned to Akron, and Is now living theie employed in the mill of Ferdinand Shoemaker. I do not know the cause of the separation.Plaintiff, sworn—When I was married I went to live in Akron, In April, 1877, my husband sent my children to my mother in this city. In the following month he brought me home and then returned to Akron, and has only made three visits to the children since that time. He did not live with meas his wife during those visits. At times he asked mo to live with him, and then again he said hedidnot want to live with me. When he asked me to live with him I refusert to do so. Our married life was not pleasant at all. He brought me from Akron to Cincinnati to enable me to recover my health. Ho borrowed money to take a trip out West soon after our separation. Upon his returning to the city I told him to return to Akron and pay his debts. He wrote me a good many times asking me to live with him. I only answered a few of his letters, and always refused to live with him. Since his return to Akron he sentme about $115 in money and some flour. That is all he sent me. He earns $1,000 a year.e sent me. He earns *i,uuo a year.Rosa B. Renz, sworn—Am plaintiff’s mother. It would have been impossible for my daughter to live upon what her husband sent her during the last three years.
