J. H. StaffordSuccumbs, 76Jack Harrison Stafford died on Wednesday in a Calgary hospital et the age of 76 years.Born in Boston, Mass., Mr. Stafford came to Lethbridge in 1910. When the First World War broke out in 1914, he went overseas with the 49th Battery. Following discharge, he homesteaded in the Peace River country until 1935 when he returned to Lethbridge where he had since resided.He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Loretta Taylor, whom he married in Lethbridge in 1941. He was a member of tihe Salvation Army.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Martin Bros, chapel with Major Robert White officiating. Burial will be in Archmount Memorial Gardens.
