OBITUARY.James Mack.James Mack, the well known snw-mill man,lumber dealer and ship-butlder, of Pendleton,died last night, after a brief illness, In his sixty-sixth year, at his residence, 1466 Eastern avenue. Mr. Mack was besl known in river circles, having a large acquaintance all along the Ohio from Pittsburgto its mouth, and on the Mississippi from Cairo to the Gulf. . before the destruction of his shipyards by firo-a few years ago he was noted as tliobuilder of the largest and nucst steamers on the western waters. Ofiatehehad been somewhat unfortunate, and a few months ago was cbm-pelled to make an assignment.
