MATES SEEKDomestic troubles in the home of Christian T. Lassen, a well known Cedar Lake resident, came to a climax yesterday when Mrs. Lassen, through her attorneys McMahon Conroy, filed divorce proceedings in the superior court. The statutory charge of cruel treatment is alleged. Mrs. Lassen asks $10,000 alimony. The couple was married in June, 1897, and separated last Friday. Mrs. Lassen is reported to be staying in Chicago. The couple j has a host of friends Jn Lake county who hope that in time they will be able to setle their differences out of court. Mrs. Lassen in filing her divorce complaint, also asks for a restraining order to prevent her husband from selling any of his property during the pendency of the trial.Gary and Indiana Harbor couples also appeared with divorce complaints. Mrs. Geeorge Temper of Indiana Harbor, through her attorney, Marcus Herchcovitz, charges her husband with cruel treatment. She asks $2,500 alimony. They were married on Christmas day, 1904, and separated a year ago last June.Joseph Cwinklinskl of Gary, through his attorney, Paul Glaser, alleges infidelity.
