Wallen has tiled a petition II with the elerk of the district court asking for a divorce from his young wife, j who he led to the altar in this city last I Christmas day. Mr. Wallen in his pe- Itition states that his wife has been I guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment J towards him and that he has suffered I great mental anguish as a consequence. I. He also claims that she has called him I vile names in public and in the pres- I ence of their friends and that on one Ioccasion she beat him with a chair. He I also accuses his wife of associating Iwith immoral persons. Mrs. Wallen is I only seventeen years of age and has! secured an attorney and will fight the I divorce.
