*oleIsLions Attend MeetingLucamaa.The Lucama Lions club wasisfhost to officials of zone two, region four of Lions InternationalkL.ndlast night.8Following the regular meeting of the Lucama Lions, zone officials met in a business session withleader and3Guy Pittman, zone president of the Lucama club.During the regular meeting Robert Jones, Bailey attorney spoke on, “To What Are We Indebted?” Highlights of his talk were giving community service and fellowship of men.More than 35 persons attended the celebration and business ses-esions.JThe Lions had plenty of fun during the meet also. They had P.D. Newberry of Pikeville, thatclub’s tailtwister, and T. A. Hamdt Wilson, another tailtwister.leading the fun making.During the zone meeting the officials discussed the problems of the zone, communication andattendance.The dinner for the occasion was served by the Lucama Order of the Eastern Star.Among the Lion leaders attending the meeting were WTilbur A. Pikeville, deputy district g°v-ernor; Dewanner Stallings of Wil-i*of the Wilson 11i1son, presidentLions; C. A. Stallings and Ed Joyner of Wilson, E. A. Howton, president and Carl Walker, secretary, Bailey Lions club; and Oscar Ay-cock of the Fremont club.The Lucama Liens will sponsor a free motion picture the night of October 20, at 7:30 o’clock at the Lucama High school auditor- , ium pertaining to work with the 7 blind.
