HOUSTON, Oct. 5,—A divorce wasgranted to Mrs- Elizabeth Don Carlosby Judge Ewing Boyd in district court here Monday. The suit was not contested by her husband, Robert C. Don Carlos.The divorce hearing recalled the killing of R. 0. Wilson, former husband of Mrs. Don Carlos, and Don Carlos’ rri?i on a charge of murder. It was after Wilson's death- and before the arrest of Don Carlos that he married Mrs. Wilson.Wilson’s skeleton, was found in a ravine near Houston by a donuty sheriff early in August, 1924.Both Don Carlos and his wife were Indicted on a murder charge. The charge aagiust her was dismissed. He was tried in December, 1924. He admitted he fired two shots into Wilson's body but contended it was in self-defense. The jury found him guilty of manslaughter and gave him a sentence of five years with the sentence suspended.Don Carlos is now a resident of Lake Charles, it was testified in court Monday. Mrs. Don Carlos lives in Houston. They married July 7, 1924, aad separated January 15 of this year, Mrs. Don Carlos said.
