Purdum, appeared in district court in Corning before Judge Homer A. Puller Tuesday morning at which time a motion filed by the defendant, asking that the date for trial to the case be set at once was up for argument. The divorce action was filed by Mr. Pur-dum about two weeks ago and in ids petition the plaintiff alleges, “that on or about the summer and fail of 1S23 and at different times and dates between that time and the commencement of this action the said defendant (Bertha A, Purdum) to violation of her marriage vows and her duties to her husband and children yielded to the solicitation, flattery, and blandishments of one William Nfeuhardt Mr, Purdum also asks for the custody and care of six children ranging in age from thirteen tq four years.
