Jacob Dangherty wants a divoice from Ills wife, Helen, and we wonder that he did not ask for It long ago. His case is indeed a grievous one, and calls for the sympathy of all members of the male persuasion who care for the rights of their fellow men. Onthe 27th day of January, 18S1, the twain were made one, and for exactly four months, lacking one day, the honeymoon lasted, and Jacob says that while it was going he was in every respect a model ;hus-band. But on the 20th of April, 1881, the bride, for some reason not stated in the petition, abruptly left his bed and board, and never went back. The deserted husband thinks this a sufficient reason for a divorce, and we agree with him.
