COURT ALLOWS DIVORCE PLEA OF EVA WEBERliEva Weber was granted a divorce from .Michael Weber by Judge P. J. Nelson in district court Wednesday morning on the grounds* of cruel and inhuman treatment. Mr**. Weber I and a Mrs. J, C. Smith, a sister, :lt;?s-tified at the action. Both testified as to cruel and inhuman treatment.They were married Feb. 21, 1917, and lived together until March 16. 1921. The cruel and inhuman treatment began in September 192^, the plaintiff declared in her testimony. It consisted, she said, of abuse, swearing and blows from her spouse. *She told the court that she had left him on several occasion?*, because she needed clothes and he refused to give her money with wh*ch to purchase any. Testimony was al«o ln'rMuoM to nhow that defendant on various occasions v,m addicted to the use of too much 1*lt;j-uor. The request that she he *1-1 lowed to resume her maiden name, Eva rink, was granted by the court.
