Long Drawn Out Case Brought to Close With Signing of De cree—Charge Is Desertion. In a decree of divorcee signed on Tuesday by Circuit Judge Fred G. Wolfe, Charlies B. Heintz was grant ed legal separation from Stella VP. Meitz on the ground of desertion. The Heitz case, which has been in court for several tims, was brought to a close Monday when the complainant, by an agreement with the defendant's counsel, came into court and took the witness stand in his own behalf. We testi fied to his wife's desertion, saying that she had not lied with him for four years. Mr. Heltz's sister, Miss Florence Heltz, gave evidence in corroboration of his testimony, and the suit ended, without con test. The complainant is ordered to pay Mrs. Heltz the sum of $9 per week during the minority of John IP. Heltz, their son, provided that he remains in school during that time. This is in accordance with an agree ment between the father and mother, made public Monday at the hearing. Mr. Hertz gave his address as 924 North Sixth street and said his wife is living in Chicago. The son is with her.
