The verdict had been expected, as the evidence was the same as that offered against the Hof Brau and the Poirson Chili parlors, two other bagnios recently put out of business by the commissioners,Kleindmst went Into the tight today fully expecting defeat, and his attoi-ncys offeied no evidence, and only in a half-hearted manner cross-examined the w itnesses of the state None of his attorneys made an argument in reply to W P Breen's seven-minuteargument, and Kteindmt did not even remain to heai the verdict. Before entering the court room, he remarked to one of the attaches4 'Well, 1 guess I am only going in to receive sentencea closing for good as the ease on appeal could not be heard until after April, 1916, and by that time he would have to appear for a new license. To secure a new license, he would be compelled to put up the necessaiy money, and then if he seemed it. which is doubtful, he would still be forced to keep his place closed until the appeal case was heard.
