c.c.WMU MEETINGThe McHenry WMU met recently with Mrs. Ira Over street with, a good attendance. The meeting was opened by the president, Mrs. D. D. Green. Songs were sung, a devotional read, and the lesson studiedMrs. W. T. Saucier, is in the King's Daughters Hospital, Gulfport, . where she underwent an operation.Mrs. Raymond Bond and Mrs. P., O. Buckhannon, and daughter, Rose Helen, of Gulrport visited Mr. and Mrs. A1 Parker Wednesday.Red Ryles of Biloxi recently visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Fore. Mrs. Ryles and son returned home with him after a two week’s visit hereJim Fore and D. Fore spent Tuesday in Wiggins.Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mustin and son. Bobbie, have returned to Beaumont, after a week’s visit in the home of Dr. and Mrs, R. A. Switzer.Mrs. G. 'Hudson is visiting her daughter Mrs. Johnnie Sanders, Wiggins, this week.Mr. and Mrs. Noah Hudson have purchased the Hulon Claunch placeand are residing there.Mrs. D. Fore received a letter from her son, J. T. Fore, the first in 3 months. He is in foreign service. Bert Fore, another son is stationed in New York.Mrs. John Fore of Gulfport, spent Tuesday with Mrs. Henry Fore. *Mrs. Burton Walker visitedfriends in Perkinston last week.Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stanton visited friends in Gulfport Tuesday.Among those from here attending the Hallowe’en party hi Perkinston were: Misses Nora Willis, i Charlene Saucier, Frances Eva Atahison, Ula Mae Willis, Billie Deveraux, Ungel Stewart, Cora Stanton, Eloise Walker; Leroy McQueen, Charles Saucier, Buck Parker, and K.
