Sikes met yesterday t, with the city aldermen and repre-,f sentatlve citizens and later announced that a request had formally been made to Major W. A. a Metts, Jr., North Carolina CCC of-g fleer at Fort Bragg, that the camp be located elsewhere, o The action was taken after some of the enrollees and white youths of Monroe had clashed. Sikes said the town wishes to avoid similar occurrences In the future.
