Valind, 74, of 416 S. 17th St., Gladstone died at 6:20 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Hospital.She was born July 5, 1895 in Sheboygan, Wis., and had resided in Gladstone for 45 years. Mrs. Valind was a member of All Saints Church.She is survived by her husband: one brother, John Schmitt of Gladstone and a half sister, Mrs. Marv Fielen of Evanston, 111. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Friends may call at the Skradski Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday and parish prayers will be recited at 8 p.m.Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday at I All Saints Church and burial try j will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, he ‘ _______
