Complete Hearing ofHanks vs. HanksDivorce TrialThe court has been absorbed the past few days with the divorce suit in which Irma Frances Hanks is plaintiff against Raymond Hanks. Testimony at times proved quite sensational to thosein attendance.Mrs. Hanks filed suit for divorce charging cruel and inhuman treatment and shortly thereafter Mr Hanks filed a cross petition asking that he be granted the divorce.The case was opened Wednesday afternoon and during the afternoon the following witnesses were on the stand for the plaintiff: Dr. Dickson. Mrs,Frances Hanks. Dr. W. S. Lessenger, Ed Miller and Mrs. Ed Miller, Otis Johnson and Ralph Montgomery.Concluding the plaintifTs witnesses testimony the following witnesses were heard for the defense: Mrs. Mary Allen-der, IlifT Allender, Ferdinand Brockerand Velda Hanks.Thursday morning upon the opening of court other defense witnesses were called, IlifT Allender, Mrs. Blanche Young. Mrs Ferdinand Brcker, John Hanks. Win, McNeil, and Raymond Hanks. The case was concluded late Thursday afternoon but Judge Smyth has not yet given his decision as to the divorce.
