Deserted Wife Wants Divorce.The sadden disappearance, Ju!y 17, 1907, of Joseph Bechtle has resulted in ft suit for divorce beinjf filed by bis wife, Lottie Bechtle, who asks for the custody of their child, Hverette Bechtle, ajfo seven years.The parties resided in Jerome township. On July 17 the defendant left home, saying: he was groingftoGolumbus to Inqaire of C. C. Watson, about the rental of a farm. He failed to return, and for a period of three months the wife was under the impression that defendant had been mardered or that some fatal injury had befallen him.Mrs, Bechtle continued to make search and inquiry for her mlssinit spouse until she received Information that he was alive and well. She now chargres him ^ith abandonment, as ho has failed to contribute anything: to her support since his sudden and entirely unexpected departure. J. E.
