Judge Devaul Grants 3 Divorce DecreesWhat counsel termed a “Solomon” decision was returned in common pleas court Wednesday by Judge J. G, Devaul in granting a divorce to the plaintiff in the case of Edith Cunningham against Paul Cunningham. Both parties live in Tiltonsville.The plaintiff, who charged extreme cruelty, also asked for custody of a minor child, a girl. The case was contested, and Judge Devaul in announcing his decision, provided that the child shall be placed in the custody of each parent for a period of six months, alternating twice a year. Attorneys Virgil Monti.and Fred Stone represented the complainant.Divorces were also allowed by Judge Devaul to two other county residents. William Parker Davidson was granted legal separation from Ella Louise Davidson on grounds of wilful absence. Davidson had for counsel Attorney Tom Rock, Mike Bays, Steubenville, was given a divorce from Gay Willivene Bays on grounds of adultery. Attorney Ralph Levinson represented the plaintiff.
