AREA COUNTIES GET CONTINUED DROUGHT RELIEFWalter McKay, state director, Farmers Home Administration,was advised this week of action taken by the National Drought Committee extending the F.mergenry Feed Program in 74 of the 121 counties previously designated. Four new counties — Armstrong, DeWitt, Lips-comb, and Maverick — were designated.Counties in which the program will operate through June 30 include: Bandera, Bexar, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble Medina, Medina, Heal, Uvalde, and Zavala.
