Wichita, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Cayte, to Matthew Mavec, son of Matt and Jeanie (Cuppet) Mavec, Wichita, and the grandson of Maxine Cuppet, Savon-burg.The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Maize High School. She attended Pittsburg State University and Butler County Community College. She earned a degree in nursing. She is employed by Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.The groom-to-be is a 2000graduate of Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita. He will be a May 2009 graduate of Friends University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.He is employed by Cracker Barrel Resturant in Park City. A June wedding is planned.Following a honeymoon to Jamaica they will live in Wichita.
