BOYERSUES FOR DIVORCEaCharges Infidelity, thePapers ImpoundedLibelee Formerly a Curate at Churchof the AdventftCharging infidelity, Catherine Gardner Boyer tiled a libel for divorce in the Superior Court of Suffolk County yesterday against Francis B. Boyer, who was at one time curate at the Church Of the Advent. S* ;;The papers were impounded by order of the court, but a docket entry shows a motion by counsel for Mrs Boyer for leave to amend the libel by insertingthe name of the corespondent.Mrs Boyer is the daughter of Mr and , Mrs George P. Gardner of Boston and Southbord and the niece of Mrs John 1^. Gardner. The couple were married on June 29, 1907. Shortly after the wedding, Mr Boyer went to New Bedford, where he was made rector of St Martin's Episcopal Church. In New Bedford he attracted attention by attending prize tights and becoming involved in local politic*. ■ j During the war. he served with the lighting forces abroad and was wounded while driving an ambulance. On recovering he did not continue his church work but started a garage business in South boro, where he *nd his wife lived.In January of the present year, a sensation was caused when a young widow, Mrs Bernice Boucher, while dying from poison which she had taken, called for Boyer. He came to the apartment, where, an related in the newq^apers of that date, he had been a frequent visitor. H« admitted that he had known the widow for about six months.!
