MRS. GRUBER DIVORCEDReleased from the Wall-Known BallPlayer. IfiajMrs. Mary E. Gruber was granted a divorce from Henry Gruber in the superior court here yesterday afternoon by Judge Silas Robinson. Mrs. Gruber asked for the divorce on the ground of intolerable cruelty. In her testimonyshe stated that Gruber had threatened her with a revolver several times. This was corroborated by Patrolman George Murphy and Patrolman Bernard Hope.The couole were married in 1889. Gruber was formerly a well known baseball player and has held positionson a number of teams in the Nationalleague. He has acted as umpire at Yale field on various occasions.
