HOLD LAST RITES FOR „ ANVIL MAN ON MONDAYAnvil, May 1 — Last rites for Frank Stemphiar of Anvil, 54, who died Thursday noon, at the Newport hospital, were held at the St. Sebastian’s church at Bessemer Monday morning at 9 o’clock. A requiem high mass was sung by the Rev. C. J Swoboda. Interment was in HiKcrest cemetery. Surviving are the widow, three sons, John of Detroit, Mathew and Frank at home, two daughters, Rose and Anna at home. He also leaves his parents and 12 sisters in Yugo Slav-Jja, Europe. Pall bearers were members of the Slovene National Benefit society, John Chiach, Anton Sik-lich, Jack Cooper, George Smiljan-lch, John Milakovich. and GeorgeDelich. Flower be are; s were: DanBicanich, Nick Prebicevich, Matt Crakovich, and Steve Somer. Attending the funeral were members of the Slovene National Benefit society. and the Eagles lodge of Bessemer, of which the deceased was a member. Relatives attending the funeral were a son, John, of Detroit, and his aunt and a cousin.
