Mrs. Leonard Creager Files Cross Petition in Answer to Husband's Suit.! Some time ago Leonard Creager, of i Bellevue, who is employed on the Wheeling Ky., filed a suit for divorce from his wife, Lydia Creager, who came back with a cross petition ann answer in 'which she alt;sked for alimony. The court refused Creager a divorce, but granted Mrs. Creagers alimony. Creager was cited for contempt two or three times for failureto pay.Now Mrs. Creager has filed in Huron county common pleas court a petition for absolute divorce. The petition says that plaintiff has been a resident of Huron county for more than one year past, that she was married to defendant October 4, 18%, and one child, Leonard Laverne^ is the resultof the union.Plaintiff alleges that defendant has been guilty of gross neglect of duty for more than three years past and about that time he 'became infatuated with some other woman to whom he paid more attention and money thanhe spent in the support of his family.Plaintiff says that about the month of February, 1906, she missed defend-jant one night when she knew tie could have been at home and early I next morning plaintiff went to the house where her suspicions led her to believe that defendant then was, and j found him leaving the house.Defendant has continued estrangement from plaintiff until the present time and has never offered to relent or discontinue his attentions to this woman, so that plaintiff has abandoned all hopes of tbeing able to restore domestic life with defendant in any manner that could be enjoyable. The | petition also alleges that defendant has destroyed her peace of mind and for that reason Is guilty of cruelty wherefore she prays for divorce ano custody of child.
