Church of Christ hosts former rock musiciansA Spring Tour Team from Minnesota Bible College in Rochester, consisting of Prof. John Webb and 2 former professional rock musicians will be presenting a Gospel Music and sharing program at the local Church of Chnst meeting on West Oakland Ave and 2nd Street this Sunday at 7 p m.Dave Klug and Boyd Sibley not only have a history in professional music, they were heavily involved in drugs, transcendental meditation, and Eastern religions before becoming Christians. A quote from one of their recent letters. • We would like to tell you our story. We hope to help many to better understand the world that young people face and to help the young avoid the mistakes so many are taking We have searched through all of today's alternatives, and praise the Lord, He found us. We know Jesus Christ to be theonly way.'*Prof John Webb is in his first year at Minnesota Bible College in the area of Preaching. Ministries and Speech Communication Mr Webb is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College lt;A B Southern Univ. of Illinois (M.S. in .Speech Communications) and Lincoln Oiristian Seminary (DM Div. in Christian Ministries and Theology - Philosophy areas'. Having grown up in the context o f Christian College and Seminary work. Prof. Webb is appreciative of the role played by a teacher of preachers The public is invited to shart in this »pecial evening lervie# under the direction and ministry of the M B C Tour Team, and young peopio are especially invited to attend the * p.m. Youth Hour in which Dave and Boyd will lead.
