Miriam FinchNov. 27,1928 - March 25,2011BAILEY — Miriam “Tootsie” Finch, 83, went to be with the Lord March 25,2011. She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, grandmother, greatgrandmother and sister. “Tootsie” was a spiritual mother to many,Funeral services will be conducted at Independence Pentecostal Holiness Church on New Sandy Hill Church Road, Bailey on Sunday, March 27,2011 at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Elwood Long and the Rev. Dale Eatmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Bailey City Cemetery.She was preceded in death by her parents, Do-ane and Bessie Pearson; her husband, John C. Finch; and a grandson, Larry Steven Finch.She is survived by her sons, Larry Finch and wife, Barbara, and Gordon Finch and wife, Teresa, all of Bailey; her sister, Romaine Rowe of Lucama; five grandchildren, Angie Stallings, Karen Fulghum, Carolyn Ellis, Megan Brown, and Ethan Vester; seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Stallings, Dillon Stallings, Brittany Stallings, Adam Fulghum, Alyssa Fulghum, Jacob Ellington, and Jana Ellington; and her special cat, Tripod.The family will receive friends at Shingleton Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26,2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at her residence.Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Independence Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, P.O.
