Alexander Schepp, who formerly kept a saloon in this city on Main street, above Vincennes, and tried to get li-» cense to 6t*»rt a saloon at New Pro vis dence, died at the latter place on Sunday evening of convulsions, caused by the excessive use of liquor. At the time of his death his wife had an application for divorce from him pending in the Floyd circuit court, her allegations being drunkenness and excessive crnelty.
