D. Hunt, attorney for Sarah M. Dudley. The defendant named isFlorence D. Walls, and the cause of action is damages in the sum of $2,-eO for alleged alienation of affections.The complaint states that Sarah M. Dudley, the plaintiff, has been for the past IS years the wife of one William Dudley, and that she has lived with said William Dudley and their children of •whom there are six in the town of Sullivan. Their married life, according to the complaint, wras congenial and the plaintiff enjoyed said William Dudley’s affections, support axd protection, which fact was -wellknown to the defendant.It is charged that in June, 1905, the defendant knowing the premises and the conditions existing between the plaintiff and her husband -wrongfully and unlawfully intending to injure the plaintiff and deprive her of said husband’s affections, support and protection, willfully, -wickedly, maliciously and unlawfully gained the affection of said William Dudley and seduced him by her -wiles and intrigues and machinations induced him to have carnal intercourse with herand sought to persuade him and entice him by herblandishments to leave said plaintiff and their children without support and abandon them and live with said defendant. It is also charged that the defendant by the means aforesaid has gained controlof said William Dudley, inducing him to practically abandon the plaintiff j1 and furnish her with money and lavish all of his love and affection on said defendant.The complaint further states that by reason of the aforesaid facfs the said William Dudley has totally abandoned the plaintiff and her children j E and taken up his abode with said Florence D.
