CIRCUIT COURT.William Clark Plead Guilty to Burglary but Sentence Was Suspended.The March term of the VermillionCircuit court convened on time last Monday morning. The following business was disposed of the first day Morton Hollingsworth of this place and Harry Whetsel of Clinton were appointed riding bailiffs. William Biggs was appointed court bailiff.State of Indiana vs. Myrt Adams; petit larceny on two cases. These cases have been hanging fire for two years and were dismissed on motion of the prosecutor.State vs. Clarence Emrick; removing mortgaged property from the county. Continued for arrest.State of Indiana vs. John Carson; assault and battery. Continued for arrest.State of Indiana vs. Ray Bone-brake; burglary. Dismissed.State of Indiana vs. Paul Mesals; assault and battery with intent to kill and murder. Continued.State of Indiana vs. Oscar Pearman; assault and battery. Continued for arrest.State of Indiana vs. Thad Stephens; keeping device for gaining. On a plea of guilty he was lined $25 andcosts.State of Indiana vs. William Clark; burglary. On a plea of guilty and he being only 16 years of age the judge suspended sentence and took the punishment under advisement and the cause was continued. The defendant was placed under a personal recognizance bond of $500 fur his appearance here the first day of the next term of court and the first day of each succeeding term until the defendant is discharged according to law. This is the Dana lad who burglarized Bennett's store at that place and was captured at Chrisman the next day.Lenora Pearman vs. Elisha Pearman; divorce. Dismissed.Mary B. Belles, Daisy B. Duncan vs. Columbus Foncannon et at.; partition. Report of sale made and approved. Conley Conley, lawyers, were allowed $150 and Paul H. Conley was allowed $100 for commissioner.John Julian vs. Nettie Julian; divorce. Dismissed.The petit jury was ordered for next Monday at 9 o’clock.State of Indiana vs. George Cummins;. assault and battery with intent to murder.
