Deaths andF uner alsHarry CooperHarry Cooper, 60, of 814 Longford Driver, former co-owner of the old Imperial Cigar tore, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday in Ohio Valley Hospital. He had been in failing health lor sometime.He was born Nov. 12, 1898, in Steubenville, the son of the late Joseph and Eva Weinstein Cooper.Mr. Cooper and Andrew McGraw owned and operated the Imperial Cigar Store on Market St. for 30 years, until his retirement in 1954.He was a member of the B’nai Israel Synagogue and the BPOE No. 231 of Steubenville.ftMr. Cooper leaves his widow, Mrs. Bertha Cooper; one brother, Benjamin Cooper of Steubenville, and one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Anna) Fried of Steubenville.Friends may call at the Elliott Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Rabbi Raymond . Leiman will officiate. Burial will be in B’nai Israel Cemetery.Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
