Friendship StarLast Wednesday evening, Quincy chapter No. 177, Order of Eastern Star, held inspection and Helen Collins, Wauwatosa, grand conductress of the grand tcchapter, was inspecting officer. SA dinner at the Hotel Friendship preceded the meeting. For the ^ceremonies, the chapter room Ewas decorated with baskets of 0yellow spring flowers, potted hplants, and green tapers. The eofficers wore white formals vwith jonquil corsages. The in- nspecting officer was presented vand welcomed and Ruth Wil- rlard, associate matron, gave her ta corsage of white mums and carnations. Other guests were Dora Russell, Friendship, grand representative of 'he state of Maine; Myrtle Gibson, Milwaukee. grand representative ofBritish Columbia; Zoe Wickus, worthy matron of the Adams chapter. The candidates were Dora Russell and Mae Rierson. During the sendee, Edna Stackhouse sang two solos. At the close of the work, Helen Collins gave a talk.
