John Coakley Died This After%noon After An llness oftTwo Weeks.John Coakley, well known Linton citizen, died at 12:15 o’clock this afternoon at his home, No. 39 “K” street northwest, after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Coakley was aged sixty-seven years and ten months.The deceased is survived by his wife and eight children, as follows: Miss Catherine Coakley and JameB Coakley, of Terre Haute; Thomas, of Linton; Mrs. Clyde Moss, of pogalo-sa, La.; Misses Nellie and Ilene and John and William, at home. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. They are: Cornelius .Coakley, of this city, and James Coakley, of Terre Haute; Miss Elizabeth Coakley, of this city, and Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald, of Clinton.Mr. Coakley was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic chrirch and of the Gould local of the United Mine Workers of America.The deceased was one of the bes* known miners in this field, having lived continuously in Linton fof the past eighteen years. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his death will come as a shock to his many friends and acquaintances.Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning, Rev.
