Etta M. RowlesServices for Mrs. Etta M. Rowles, 74, of O’Shanter, Clearfield R.D. 3, who was dead on arrival at Clearfield Hospital Tuesday, June 22, will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.The Rev, William Norman will officiate. Interment will follow in Bloomington Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of services tomorrow.Mrs. Rowles was born March 31, 1908, in Boggs Township, a daughter of Paul and Oilie Mae (Smeal) Kline.She was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church of Glen Richey, a former treasurer and Sunday school superintendent of the church, and a member of the Capsule Sisters of the church; the Order of the Amaranth, Clearfield Court No. 95; the Old Town Grandmothers Club, the Glen Richey Fire Co. Auxiliary and the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. She was also judge of elections for the Glen Richey precinct for 33 years.She was married to Perry A. Rowles, who preceded her in death in 1959. She was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie; one grandson, herEarents and a number of rothers and sisters.Mrs. Rowles is survived by three sons, Albert G. Rowles of Shiloh, Marvin L. Rowles of Clarion and Darrell C. Rowles of Clearfield; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her family.The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.
