Judge Splits Fortune In Divorce CaseJanet Jones of San Rafael will receive $404,WO as her share ofthe $1.7 million lighting fixtures ' fortune of her San Leandro husband. Preston Jones, according to findings revealed yesterday inMarin Superior Court.Judge Samuel W. Gardiner, who determined the figure of over $800 000 in business community property after lengthy hearings of the divorce trial I started last Dec. I. also awarded Mrs. Jones half interest in tha $75,000 home at 16 Marina Way, San Rafael.Jones, 52, is to pay 110 000 more for her attorney costs; $15,750 for investigative fees resulting in her preparation of tha divorce complaint alleging extreme cruelty, and $250 monthlysupport for their son, Daren.Mrs Jones won half of tha couple’s $34,000 Squaw Valley home, but must pay the remairv ing $25,000 of her own attorneycosts.Total lawyer fees for her to*taled $65,000, with the $55 541 17 amount still due. Judge Gardiner determined Mrs Jones shouldpay her share because she obtained the substantial propertyallowanceHe said interlocutory' decrea of divorce will not be granted pending additional legal matters.
