R. Stecker. who is wanted here on the charge of having abducted Edna May Thornton, a girl of 14, for immoral purposes. Stecker is 64 years of age. but the child seems to be quite infatuated with him. It is said that he has been living with her in North Dakota under an assumed name.— Mina Holte secured a divorce from her husband, John P. Holte. in the district court here yesterday, on the ground of drunkenness and cruel and inhuman treatment.—The Free Press, which lias been owned by Rev. J, G. Morrison and J. G Durrcll ‘during the past year, has been purchased by C. J. Sawbrldge. —*Mrs. S. Johnson was brought in from the town of Amor to-day and committed to the insane hospital here.
