Albina S. Gibbs, ) In Common Pleas Court, 7vs. ' - Van Wert County, Ohio. ^Charles W. Gibbs.JCIIARLES W. GIBBS, whose place of residence Is unknown, will take notice, that on the 5th day of Juno, A. D. 1879, the plaintiff, Albina 8. Gibbs, tiled In the C lerk’s oltlce of the Court of Common Pleas of Van Wert county, Ohio, her certain petition against him, charging, among other things, that on the 8th day of October, A. I). 1804, at Mercer county, in the State of Pennsylvania, she was married to the above named defendant, Charles W. Gibbs ; she says, as the result of their marriage, there was horn to them two children, the oldest, Frankie F. Gibbs, now aged 12 years, and Allison I). Gibbs, now aged 11 years. Petitioner further represents that ever si nee said marriage she has conducted herself towards said defendant as an affectionate, obedient wife, yet the suld defendant, wholly regardless of his marital duties towards your petitioner, was guilty of gross neglect of duty In this, to-wlt: That for the six years last past he has wholly failed to provide food, raiment or shelter, or to do and perform any of the duties tncurnbent 011 him, as such husband, and wholly worthies for any purpose whatever. Plaintiff purther avers that she has been compelled to earn her own means of support, as, also, subsistence, clothingand means of education for the abovo named children. The prayer of said petition is, that she may be divorced from the said Charles W. Gibbs, and that she may be allowed reasonable alllrnony, and that she may have the care, custody and control of their said children, and for such other and further relief as equity and the nature of her case may require. Kaid Charles W. Glbb is therefore notified that unless he appear and answer to Said petition on or before the first day of said Court thereafter to be hold-en in said county, a decree will he asked for In accordance with said petition.ALBINA 8.
