ior tae piaintm.Mrs. Binnie Huffman Sawyer was Tuesday morning granted a divorce by Judge C. E. Sturgis from Prof. E„ K. Sawyer, the former Hartford Gity musician. The plaintiff is forbiddem to marry within a period of two years.Little evidence was presented in thecase other than that given by the plaintiff herself, whose statements were to the effect that the professor was an habitual drunkard, that while intoxicated he treated her cruelly; and finally abandoned her. Suit for divorce was filed by Mrs. Sawyer on a previous occasion, but the case was dismissed. David Foutz appeared for the plaintiff.
