MRS GROTHE l PASSES AffAYNative of Cotinty Lived in Same House 011 Oak Street for 61 Years.Mrs. Anna Marie Louise Grothe, 77, resident at 1008 Oak street tor 61 years, died in Burlington hospital at 5 o’clock this morning after a week's Illness. She was admitted to IIthe hospital last Saturday.Anna Marie Louise Ramueller was Iborn in Flint River township Des Moines county, June 27, 1854, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. j Frederick Ramueller. She was married August 20, LS7n to Chris Grothe and the couple took up their resi- [ dence at 1008 Oak street, where Mrs. Grothe has lived ever since. Her i husband died in 1S9S. She was a member of Zion Evangelical church.Surviving are three sons. Heat* of j Hynes, Calif.; Charles of Cedar i Rapids, la., and John of Newpor* j News, Va., one daughter, Mrs. Sam Goodfriend of Springfield. O.: live grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.The body was removed to Burnett-Wallen’s funeral home and Monday {morning will be taken to the Charles , Grothe home, 1201 Ashman street. : where funeral services will be held I Monday afternoon at 2:20 o’clock.
