Wife And Money Disappear.The Terr© Haute Tribune of recent date aays: When William McCarn-mack awoke Wednesday morning the first thing he noticed was that his wife was missing. Thinking that she was about the premises, McCam mack proceded about his usual morning avocation, but the prolonged absence of his spouse aroused something akin to suspicion. William has been save-ing his money of late and had a goodly store of $140 planted in a bureau drawer. He concluded that the money might also have taken its departure, and to his horror, the sack was gone and not a penny chinked as he ransacked the drawer. It then dawned upon McCam mack thAt the woman’s former lover, a man from Greencastle, had called the day before and he put the links of evidence together and called in the police. He is positive that the woman elopedwith the Greencastle man and is pretty certain that the $140 accompanied them.
