IV. J. Bryan CoppingerSHOSHONE — William Jennings Bryan Coppinger, 85, of Shoshone, formerly of Ketchum, died at his home Saturday evening after an apparent heart attack.Bom April 26, 1899, in Tenn., he married Blanche Kuykendall in Twin Falls in 1928. They were later divorced. He served in the Marine Corps during World Warldl.He was a card dealer and a pit boss in Ketchum, and later at Cactus Pete’s in Jackpot. He moved to Shoshone six years ago.He was a former member of the David Ketchum Post of the American Legion.Surviving are: a daughter, Reta Strickland of Elko; a sister, Thelma Barr of Buhl; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.Military graveside rites will be held at Ketchum Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday, under direction of the David Ketchum Post of the American Legion.Friends may call at the Bergin Chapel in Shoshone today, and until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
